These events don't just happen - the committee spend a lot of time (voluntarily) and expense (out of their own pockets) to organise them. Obviously we try to attend where practical.

I think if you were to look back at who attended meetings in the past, you'll probably find that the committee have attended almost every meet

Like Webdunk, I find your comments unfunny and before you ask, I'm not having a SOHF.

I was going to leave this, but you've clearly got a short memory!

My cheque will be in the post over the weekend Dunc.

You regularly expressed enthusiasm for track days yet you never paid up, despite 3 undertakings so to do.

Speaks for itself I would say.

Sorry - how many names did you have for last year's KH?

You'd think you were the only one disappointed!

ENOUGH GENTLEMEN!!!!

This is not setting a good example to any new members or potential members that read the forum. I understand both points of view and I think that this could all quickly be resolved if computers weren't involved. We are a team, both committee and non-committee members and as such we all have to work together to achieve our goals.

To be clear, we will hold an earlier track event at Crail subject to their being sufficient numbers. Jon B I'd appreciate it if you could start another thread and canvas people to attend, as I mentioned before we need at least 15 names to be able to run this event. I am looking for a list at the top of the thread amended every time someone indicates they will attend to show progress. I only want to have people listed if they are willing to pay up front, they can always sell their place and reclaim their money if the dates don't work for them once they are available.

In the interim I will be chasing Crail for dates and costs and feed these back through Tommy as soon as is possible.

Ok.. ok... Big font, bold, red and underlined.. Dr Evil has spoken.. all I can say is 'he started it..'  Oh I.. I'm sure without computers Dunc and I would have donned gummys & some pads and settled this much more sensibly..

New thread up and running as requested Jim.

I'll be the first to put my name up and happy to pay my amount for Crail (as I did this year but was refunded due to lack of interest.. what, what.. I'm not saying nothing..) if for no reason than to shut some critics up (..what?)

Thanks Jon. Put my name up as second, all monies can be taken in via the Paypal button once it's up and running in early January.

Cheers,

Cheers Jim,

I'll also have a look around for a FAQ to track days.. I did one ages back but there are better ones kicking around. I think there's a good one that Nick uses for Croft. This will be helpful for newbies who want to dip their toe for the first time.. Perhaps this can be added to track day links on the club website.

What about you Wendy.. be great to see the SportEVO going round again. I'm sure Toby would like to see you back for a re-match.. I just know he's smarting after the Rr day wth you on supermarket filth and it'd make a great sight.

I'll try and convince Colin gallie to bring his 2002.. now that would be great to see. Don't we have 2 now in the region?

What would be great is if we get the same diversity of cars we had at this year's RR.. the different sights and sounds... ahh.. and another CSL at Crail..a real treat for watchers. Also nice for the DVD.. not that I have any hidden agenda.
