Cheers for all the info guys!! Did not expect so much, although a 700 log cabin is way more than she will be getting.

Got Amsterdam in March with the guys and a wedding in Germany in August so budget for Valentine is slashed

Will sieve through the places and make a decision

Cheers again and if you think of any more then please post.

Alan.

is that near the nessie centre?

Stayed at Lochy caravan park last year, veiws of Ben Nevis and the ranges. its on the Mallaig Road. very nice place. they have big luxury caravans, or log cabins. Fort Bill close by.

Skye is also nice, lots to see. Or go accross Mull to Iona, a truley magical place. (and I'm not religeous, but it had turqoise sea and bright blue sky along with white sand on the beach. It was Juneish though )

Had a Four days and 3 nights break in this hotel originally to go fishing with a mate - never got near a fishing rod - enjoyed staying local (ie walking distance) although there are some great drives about

Food was great - Major peace and quiet and because your a resident lock-ins are expected (They bribe you to keep the bar open)
