good work alex. I was also trying to hide the camera from the marshalls. Car sounds sweet, looks like a 1:12 on that session.

I wish I had your power luke. Your losing lots of time on the brakes. About 75 meters too soon at the end of the straight, so you're not braking hard enough. Probably losing 2 seconds just on that corner.

Don't worry about going off the track. There's plenty of run off area on the
track if you brake too late. I ran wide a couple of times at the hairpin at the
end of the straight, but it just means you go around in the middle of the
road rather that at the apex. Then you know not to brake quite so late next
time.
You will need to upgrade your pads though, or after a couple of laps your
foot will go all the way to the floor and you'll crap yourself. (Happened to me
a few years ago in my old 1.2 Stilo. They were hot from driving too fast on a
nice back road. Was shaking for the rest of the day).

i was thinking about upgrading pads, hoses, fluid but i dont want brakes that squeal under normal driving which is what most of the high quality performance pads do!!

The Green Stuff pads don't squeal at all. You don't have to go mad on hoses, but better brake fluid won't do any harm. The way I see it, if you're selling the car, just stick a new set of normal pads on and the cars looks standard. When I'm selling the Z3 the old discs are going back on with a new set of OEM pads.

I've had green stuff pads before and found them great... no squeel... very strong breaking and little to no fade at all... unless you are thrashing the hell out of them. We've seen the footage  :)  They'll be perfect.

Just ordered green stuff all round for mine.... need to replace disks this year at some stage too so I'll hold off till new disks and put them all on together.
