Thats very noble of you to say so.. and to say you had the answer sheet and did not even take a look at it before the quiz is very honourable.

I did think we could have had a better turnout though..

Shame there isn't a meeting in December, I quite look forward to them.

See you in January.

Nick

Just a quick thanks to StuB for Tuesday night, we'll have to think of some things to get the members out of hiding and down to the meets.

Thanks again.

Just in case anyone read Stu's post earlier, the AGM is the 4th February 2006, not the 1st as quoted.

Happy New Year to everyone, and see you all in February.

Anything on the agenda for tommorrow night Stu?

Hopefully it will be a good turnout. It seems like ages since the last one and I have been getting withdrawal symptoms!

I'll be there, all being well.

By the way, I know I'm being pedantic, but isn't it Barnes WALLIS (as opposed to Wallace)?

Hi folks, if I get home early enough - I'll try to pop up.
A mate keeps meaning to come to a meeting sometime, will try to drag him along as well. Hasn't joined the forum yet but drives a very nice blue Z3-M.

Ok, so where was everybody? Eight hardy souls turned up last night, with my better half making up the eight. I only conned her into going (her first visit) with the promise that there would be other wives/girlfriends to chat to. It's a good job Sylvia was there, otherwise I would have been in the doghouse!

Anyway, it was a great pint and a half (I was the driver) of Timothy Taylor Landlord, and the scampi was excellent. Peta pointed out that we paid the same for a pint AND a large glass of red wine as we pay for the wine alone at the White Swan in Pickering!

Yes, we have got to do better than that... a little more phoning around and a few e-mail reminders next time.

It was still good though, it always is.

See you all next time.

Our apologies for last night, Sarah ended up working really late which meant, with the hour an a quarter drive to the pub, it wasn't a good idea for us to go.

Next Time...

Nice to see so many faces, including a couple of new ones last night.

The Murphy's was absolutely spot on and complimented the pancakes very nicely

I enjoyed a good old natter with everyone too, especially about how crap X3's are

Anyway, I'll have a quiz or something similar lined up for next month.

Howard, hope you get well soon and the staff at the Barnes wish you a speedy recovery (apparently their takings were down last night)!

It'll be great if we can get a few more events planned when (if) winter draws to a close.

See you all 28th March?

A couple more new people due again and I've a car related picture quiz again (and you know I wont cheat either), so I'll try to get some prizes donated for the winner(s).

Lots of events to get organised this year too by the look of things.

Oh, I've got a new moota which you can all have a peek at too!

Cheers

Stu
