Argh

John has just pulled out also

so now that leaves us 3 cars (maybe 4 if 2002 is ready)

I know someone that is willing to put his e34 518 project car in (the one he bought for £70)

But need a pass

If either Dave or Alexander can let me know if a pass is available by txt tomoz (as i am away to Arbroath)

Maybe we should just cancel this one???

What you recon?

I really am not fussed

I've got the pack here in Montrose now, I could swing in past Arbroath tomorrow for a short time and drop off the pack.

Still in work now, they like to get their money's worth out of me!!

Sounds like a good scheme to me.  I'll be at the Hay Street carpark by 10.30 so we should reach Huntly by 11.15 easy enough.  I'm not sure exactly where the place is in Alford but I'm sure everyone else knows.

We're definately going for a look round.  We took a walk down to the Forres Theme Day last Saturday so that whetted my appetite.  There were a few really nice motors there actually.

found this

Sounds pretty good

This year sees the third Motorvation! to be held on Sunday 24th July at Grampian Transport Museum. Motorvation! Replaced the Alford Cavalcade that had run for the previous 25 years and was the major fundraiser for the establishment of the Grampian Transport Museum. The formula for Motorvation! Involves heavy emphasis on extremely rare or unique motorcars that help to illustrate the story of the motorcar.

For 2005 we have already confirmed entries from both ends of the chronological spectrum with historic Victorian and Edwardian steam and motor cars contrasting dramatically with exceptional modern classics and supercars. We anticipate a unique spectacle in 2005; the chance to directly compare around thirty supercars and possibly a full set of Ferraris!

Motorvation!’s chronological sequence kicks off this year with a special guest appearance of a faithful replica of one of Hancock’s Steam Coaches that were the first effective self moving road passenger vehicles in the world. They ran in London in the 1840s. The unique carriage attending Motorvation! was built by Tom Brogden, the leading engineering replica specialist, in 2002. Tom worked from the original drawings for the ‘Enterprise’, the third Hancock carriage to be made in 1840. The chronology is rounded off with the very latest models from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Lotus, Bugatti, Maserati and Porsche. Town and County Motor Group of Aberdeen, the main specialist sponsor again for 2005, who are the local specialists in performace and prestige cars, will ensure that the event comes right up to the minute with examples of the very latest Porsche, Subaru and Range Rover models from their Tullos dealership.

Motorvation! is building to become one of the very best motorcar events in Scotland. The interest from participants this year has been remarkable and organisers expect the site to be at capacity with exceptional historic and classic cars and trade displays from locally active car dealerships. Edinburgh’s Bentley dealership are fielding two of the new Bentley Continentals and some Ferrari and Maserati supercars.
