Hi, you can count me in. I'd love to do it in Pallas.......

Can everyone vote for there preference of venue;

1) Athboy - Meath
2) Kylemore - Dublin
3) Tynagh - Galway
4) Pallas - Galway

Geoff

I hate to tell you Geoff.....but Tynagh and Pallas are the same track, ie. Pallas Karting, Tynagh, Portnuma, Co. Galway!!

That's one way to swing the votes

The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

Given that there the track day in October & there is an end of year meeting planned presumable in November, & with the build up to Christmas, etc. ["you can't go karting as you promised to go shopping with me and my mother..."] what about holding it in early January? It would be a bit of a belated Chrimbo present after recieving all the rubbish presents off family!

Richie that all depends on your driving and how you qualify?? Are partners invited or is it just for the lads and the one or two girls to take to the track.

Why Killian are you going in the partners section of the karting so you can get a bit of practice before you take on the big boys

All,

I rang Kylemore Karting yesterday and the guy told me that there is no problem with booking a date in the run up to Xmas! All we need is a 100 euro deposit (which I will put up) along with a group of over 9, so its looking good. We can try and drum up some more support for this at the track day!

I pressume it will be between the Grand Prix Event 40 Euros and the Championship Event 36 Euros?

How about another pole to decide whether the event is held before or after Xmas! Could someone do this for me, as for some reason I am restricted from creating and voting on polls on this forum (any ideas why?)

Your post count isn't high enough - you need to be over 200 I think

The athboy track is outdoor so coming near Xmas and the weather isn't getting any better some fair weather members might not like getting cold and wet its all to one to me but just something to bear in mind.

Has a date or venue been decided yet or are we waiting till nearer Xmas to finalise the details just wondering as I would hate this event/meet to fade into the distance

All,

Its certainly looking like Kylemore based on the vote, also team events, which we can sort out closer to the date! How does Saturday 4th December sound to everyone? If this agrees, I'll go ahead and pay the 100 euro deposit. Therefore, can everyone PM me (with their names) confirming their participation in the event, as we will be required to give definite numbers.

Geoff...4 names is poor. There's 6 votes for Dublin! That doesn't tally.
