Does your offer still stand of a wee spin in your car?

As long as you're in the passenger seat Stephen, no problem!

Don't mention the word spin - brings back memories of Crail

Sorted the hotel accommodation today, decided against travelling up to and from Scotland in 40 hrs with only a handful of hours there.  Got myself booked into a posh looking place in Inverness, Royal Highland Hotel.  So now arriving north of the border on the Saturday morning and leaving on the Monday evening, giving me plenty of time to suss out the local estate agents and the area too, plus I won't look too cream crackered at the meet on the Sunday

So you going to get train from Aberdeen upto Inverness then?

Is Stephen still going to be your driver on sunday?

Since he stays up that way anyway

I am taking coach from Southampton via London Victoria to Inverness overnight on the 29th, arriving in Inverness on the 30th and returning on the 1st November from Inverness via London Victoria to Southampton, reaching home on the Tuesday morning.  Stephen is still providing the transportation to/from the meet on the Sunday, which is very appreciated.

Basically I decided on Inverness as my base as its the area I am looking into living in and its much easier for Stephen to get home from after the meet seeing as he has work to go to the next morning.

Take off point seems fine to me JF, the big M may be sold by the meeting so it may not make it.
