Yes that the problem. Apparently the saloon's have a different bonnet and wings but he will soon be measuring it up for it will fit the whole E36 range. They have only been going for about the past 2 months.

Not much good for us saloon owners though since it only fits the coupe/convertible. bigcry

Same price as a BMC CDA - should make a nicer noise if that's a consideration - looks like a good copy / development of the K&N FIPK.

powder coated now and get a nice sample.

I get most noise low down about 2k revs and then at max revs 6500 you get a lovely wail/rumble, its a beautiful noise, not much in between tho.....

Mell, stick with the BMC - it's a cracking kit. As Neil says fitting is a doddle (hey if I can do it anyone can) £200 is too dear. HTR did mine for £170 delivered.

It won't be too noisy as it's a closed kit. You'll gain a little noise at higher revs and that's it.

Mell.....i used to have a K&N.....and now i have a BMC.....go figure LOL!!! K&N is going for 25 quid, but Jerry claimed it first! If it doesnt fit his, we can see if it fits yours if you want.

Sounds good John! Its a piece of cake to fit, theres always a way to get around things!

Mell, at the moment everybody has a boner for those Replica Gruppe M filters, so there are probably a few peeps who have them for sale.....not guarenteed, but its worth posting on e36coupe.com if you want to save yourself 50 - 100 quid!
