Mell, stick with the BMC - it's a cracking kit. As Neil says fitting is a doddle (hey if I can do it anyone can) £200 is too dear. HTR did mine for £170 delivered.

It won't be too noisy as it's a closed kit. You'll gain a little noise at higher revs and that's it.

I get most noise low down about 2k revs and then at max revs 6500 you get a lovely wail/rumble, its a beautiful noise, not much in between tho.....

Same price as a BMC CDA - should make a nicer noise if that's a consideration - looks like a good copy / development of the K&N FIPK.

Not much good for us saloon owners though since it only fits the coupe/convertible. bigcry

Yes that the problem. Apparently the saloon's have a different bonnet and wings but he will soon be measuring it up for it will fit the whole E36 range. They have only been going for about the past 2 months.

I keep finding out how many differences the
coupe/saloon have!!!!

very similar to my induction, but I have a shield on
the bottom as there is a nice hot coolant pipe that
passes underneath. Also has a nice aluminium heat
shield mat on the outside which is suppossed to
resist temp of 400 degrees!!!

I was going to make more to sell, but never got
round to it!!
