Thanks lads. I really hope i can provide a quality service to you all, aswell as a quality product.

@Mike - I don't have the resources to offer a fitting service at the moment unfortunately. It's definetly on the agenda for the future, depending on the success of the products obviously. Ultimately i'd like to provide a complete performance and tuning solution for all BMW models.

Yeah he had the complete sort shift and retained the original M3 gearknob and he loved it, so I'll have to see if he goes for one on his next car

Did he have the complete short shift kit on the E46? I do like the leather feel on the shift but TBH on I more curious about how the shift itself feels, smoother, less notchy, more natural flow rather than having to focus on the change?

I have a non Evo 3 UUC sort shift on my car with a ACS gearknob and the cold mornings were not any problem just get in to top gear and forget about the rest, in the Summer its the opposite and it can get very hot if you car is parked all day in the sun, but who cares. A mate of mine had one in his old E46 M3 and loved it and then got a E46 M3 with SMG and hated the SMG and is ordering a new E46 M3 manual

No - no lights on it, just a big round scratch in the cetre of the one thats on it at the moment that bothers me.

I'm a bit funny about things like that, its a six speed so I'd like it to match.  BTW they must be really cold onthe hands on a  January morning?

Anyway I'm more interested in the EVO 3 short shifter kit although I am not sure how this would work on the M3 as I think its a short shift kit already on the 6 speed Getrag (or is it).  But the original is very notchy and I think I need to get used to it some more but I am wondering if this kit would smooth it out.  Might be money better spent.

Anyone fitted a short shift kit to an M3 Evo?

Why do you need the gear display on the gearknob anyway nobody looks at it when changing gear. Or is that the one that has the light in it, they look better anyway

Nice one, i have a UUC motorwerkes weighted gearknob on my coupe, gives a really nice smooth shift. Unfortunately when i bought it, the previous owner had opted for the ///M badge (which i believe he paid extra for!) Is it possible to get the UUC badge which it is supposed to come with? I think it looks much nicer.

Thanks & Best of Luck

Neil
