Yes it's true, as some of you already know i will be distributing UUC's products throughout Europe within the next couple of weeks.

I have been in contact with them for quite some time now with the hope of being up and running for the new year, unfortunately the speed of progress in this country is painfully slowin this regard.

Anyway back to business. I will be offering the full range of UUC products for retail and wholesale to interested parties. I would be hoping to have enough stock within the next 12 months to be able to offer BMW products for most models off the shelf. I will be trading as Bob's Shack.com and my website and email should be up and running shortly with € pricing of products that are currently in stock.

My aim is to offer a top quality product and service to all who are interested in the BMW marque, which we are badly in need of in this country at present. Personally i grow tired of trawling the net, calculating exchange rates, waiting on shipping and paying extortionate taxes simply because i want an alternative product.

I probably left out loads of details but i will be keeping you updated on proceedings. I am hoping to provide you all with a quality, alternative, one stop solution for all your tuning requirements.

Please check http://www.uucmotorwerks.com for product info.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about any of the products.

My mobile 087 4122 134

Regards,

Robbie.

At last Robbie I don't have to keep the secret of your new venture, Best of luck in your new business and I hope you get aload of support from this Club for your products, talk to you at Mondello.

I can vouch for UUC products already as I have a UUC short shifter fitted to my car and it is top notch stuff and the stuff they produce is of excellent quality and to a fantastic high standard.

Again Robbie best of Luck, you might have to put a stand up at Bimmerfest in Belfast

Cheers Paul, Niall.

@Niall - It would be nice to be in a position to do that at the Bimmerfest and also great exposure. It's something to work towards, maybe you'd like to put your car on the stand, after you buy loads more products off me obviously

Thanks again.

Good luck to you Robbie, please pm or e-mail Howard with this news, see if he can help you by popping something on the website etc.

It will also help me keep you the right side of the forum rules regarding advertising etc ( I have my own small business Robbie, so I would rather help that just edit ).

So It's official then!

Who's gonna have a fully equipped UUC shortly?

It's good to have new comers, it might move a bit the market that tends to think it's ok to charge 2 or 3 times the cost price!

Nice one, i have a UUC motorwerkes weighted gearknob on my coupe, gives a really nice smooth shift. Unfortunately when i bought it, the previous owner had opted for the ///M badge (which i believe he paid extra for!) Is it possible to get the UUC badge which it is supposed to come with? I think it looks much nicer.

Thanks & Best of Luck

Neil

Why do you need the gear display on the gearknob anyway nobody looks at it when changing gear. Or is that the one that has the light in it, they look better anyway

No - no lights on it, just a big round scratch in the cetre of the one thats on it at the moment that bothers me.

I'm a bit funny about things like that, its a six speed so I'd like it to match.  BTW they must be really cold onthe hands on a  January morning?

Anyway I'm more interested in the EVO 3 short shifter kit although I am not sure how this would work on the M3 as I think its a short shift kit already on the 6 speed Getrag (or is it).  But the original is very notchy and I think I need to get used to it some more but I am wondering if this kit would smooth it out.  Might be money better spent.

Anyone fitted a short shift kit to an M3 Evo?
