That looks like the 700bhp F40 with the uprated KKKs that was quoted a few years back.. F40 graced my walls for many years as a young un' The old decisions, decisions, decisions posted (F40, Coutach, 959) |

The ideal turn out for me at the June BDD was if an HSR and Lotus Sunbeam turned up and perhaps a couple other retro rally crusaders to play with.. I nice way to spend a shakedown.. |

Yep, the chevette HSR made it first on my list of dream cars, although
that was all the way back on page 1. Firenza Thruxton also made it on -
190bhp special race car, only 21 built. Yes please. I suppose I would
'settle' for an HS if I have to

What about the rapid Chevttes - thought they might creep in.. HSR? HP.. ahh HPE was the very fast one wasn't it - only in the Firenza drrop snoot I recall for that one.. Almost traded my ol GT6 for a HPE Magnum some years back.. |

See, I had Firenza Snoot on my previous list, so I thought it best not
to repeat myself. I know the HP motors gave 170 brake, but I'll go for
a standard slant four 2300 with the Magnum four door shell. Great
looking car - spiritual predecessor to the Lotus Carlton?
The Lagonda could be picked up for about five grand, but maintenance and running costs are horrific so it is very much a dream car rather than a cheap one. Looks fantastic though. |

Magum as opposed to a Firenza.. hmm.. droop snoot model or standard.. HP motor?? If you mean the late 70's / early 80's AM Lagonda: also being a cheap car in certain circumstances but also an expensive one to run.. |

Cheap car - Vauxhall Magnum 2300
Expensive car - Stevie's M5, or one just like it following last sunday Dream car - Aston Martin DB9 for predicatability, or AM Lagonda for something a bit different. |
