If you google for Eisenacher Motoren Werk you get a good few results. I would recommend asking someone on one of those sites!

Thank you for that, any indication if values of these cars are anything like "normal" BMW's? One is for sale and seems reasonably cheap.

Came across a German web site under the BMW section article talking about an EMW 340, apparently built in 1952. Does anybody know if this EMW had anything to do with BMW?
