Sounds like a cracking day, looking forward to it. Let's hope the weather holds out for us.

I have booked a table for 25, when I say table, it might actually be the whole dinning room, for 12 o'clock at The Pheasant Inn in Falstone.  www.thepheasantinn.com  Falstone is at the bottom of Kielder Lake.  No, diving gear is not needed, it's not in the lake at the bottom, more at the bottom end of the lake.... Oh you know what I mean!!!!!

Sunday Lunches (12.00 - 2.00pm)

On Sundays we serve sizzling traditional roasts with all the trimmings, such as Roast Sirloin of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, or Roast Northumbrian Lamb with fresh mint sauce.

For vegetarians
Alternatively, vegetarian options are available (and we're not talking flabby omelette), or for those with a less hearty appetite, a selection of crisp and tasty salads.

Anyway, the plan is to head for the pub, meet up with the Scottish guys, have lunch, and then move up to the lake for photos etc.

Meeting times and routes to follow.......

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

I'll need to know the timetable for the day before I can get the go-ahead from the Boss.

Have we settled on the Pheasant for lunch?

Pub lunches section people off though and lose atmosphere for everyone involved as people tend to go into little huddles and so on.

BBQ.  Let's light up Kielder Forest.

Pub lunch is alot better

BBQ`s take far too much time and leave little time to enjoy yourself
