Erm, this may seem a funny question but are there any solicitors registered on this forum? I may need some info

Horsey is a solicitor....just mind the wellies..

Nothing wrong with properly-made wellies.  It pays to be well-protected. But not at legal aid rates..... *groan of resignation*

Mine did some when we lived in Malaysia and also when we were in Dublin and she found it very rewarding (not financially) I suppose it deoends on who you're looking after and such..... She was moslty helping children & young adults with differing levels of disabilities

My mrs works for social services, specifically in the home help department, and she tells me it's not a brilliant job to do.

Local charities and local authorities are always looking for paid assistants for home help, special needs, recuperative assistance and the like.

Also home care type jobs, the visiting ones, they do a little shopping, cook a meal, etc etc

Most of those are agency things that will fit around your available hours.

My wife, who is a nurse bless her, has spent time doing dinner lady jobs, dayglo lil jobs ( she still does that one at the school our youngest goes to )

Perhaps not as profitable as your cleaning idea, but still there none the less should you get stuck

Speedy.

Another thing that people are often looking for, although its harder to do, especially being a bloke, is some kind of service before and after school to look after children to fit in with the parents working hours

Best Wishes
