2.5 hours - are you planning on driving behind a red e30? (and NOT mine!!)
Do you go down to M50 or do you cut down via celbridge towards clane & Naas directly (quicker)

Well its takes me about 3.5 hours to get to Millstreet in Cork, and Horse and Jockey is under half way from what I recall...

I just turn off at the Red Cow and go straight out - not much traffic unless its the evening....

IIRC it suits you better though Ken to go M50 but Dunshaughlin to Naas say would be quicker going straight down rather than towards M50.
(which reminds me I must go there and get my tax! )

That's where I work (Rathfarnham & Inchicore). Actually I think the M50 is a quicker route off peak from Dunshaughin - higher average speed. I've gone to Kildare town, Punchestown, Naas, etc. a few times and they are similar enough timewise.

Fair enough - toll bridge doesn't make sense for me given where I live. I haven't used it in over 3 years

Would it not make sense to meet up somewhere this end and head out en masse?

It depends what direction we are coming from - and times. We could meet somewhere like the Curragh?

So no one gets lost after we meet up, the fast cars will be handicapped by having an E30 316i stuck in front of them, hope this is ok...

Guys, sorry for leading away from the topic. I can't make it on the day but I would like to know where the Motor Heritage museum is located anyway.

Cheers,

 Dessie.
