There is to be another TSN meeting on Sunday 5th February 2006.

Those who attended the Holy Island Meet will know this is a good bunch of guys with a varied selection of cars.

The meet is currently scheduled for 2pm in the afternoon, starting at the A1 Northbound Washington Services.

A run of some form is being looked at right now, and I'll post details of it later.  The duration of the run is likely to be in the region of 45 minutes to an hour, returning to the A1 or allowing people to branch off and go their own way should they wish to.

So far, we have CONFIRMED 10 CARS.  Others may join us between now and then.

A4 TDi's, A6 TDi's, E30 318, VW Passat, VW Phaeton, and a few others.  It's possible we might also see a Ferrari F360 F1 or Hummer.

Please post below if you're DEFINATELY going to attend.  We'd like to avoid cancellations or non-confirmed cars this time if we can.

Is this going to be a "Driving Miss Daisy"

or a "Smokey & the Bandit" kinda run?

A mixture of the two.  The last run was way too slow.

Sorry Guys think some of us are committed to a meeting in Scone (near Perth) with the Scottish New Mini (BMW) Owners

So I wouldn't think any of the Scottish posse will be down for yours

Have fun !

The Old Girl was quite surprised ( didn't have the Speed Guvnor aboard!) & so was I - didn't realise the difference the Sport setting made!!!

Yes... But you really ought to edit your original post.

It's NOT a 318.. It's a 318iS.

Stick with 6 pots. far less hassle. V8 over rated and over stated.

So what's wrong with a 4 pot?

It's cheap, reliable, fast enough and you can do the Tour of Britain in an almost non stop 17-hour journey (24hrs in total with the required breaks plus other business committments)

Overated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why I oughta!

145mph 0- 60 7.8 secs and pulls like a whore in Bankok ..amd then you hit 4.5 thousand revs and she starts to pull even more.

More grunt than a prize winning Bull.....

And the insurance is cheaper than a 325..

I'm suprised everyone hasn'y got one..

Come the day citizen V8 will be mandatory!

Rant over
