To quote Wallace & Grommit - a cracking day out.
Below is a few pictures from the day. I'll try and get all the others sorted as soon as I can. (Hopefully, I should have a front side and back view for each car)
Does anyone want to post their bhp/torque figures, so that when I update the BMWCC website I can add the car's performance to the pictures?

Earlier start for me than normally Day was action packed as always with memories to remind us of what a great day he had cough, cough.

Nic pics Neil...Ack what the hell heres my disastarous dyno session. Just before you begin to slate it, the cars gizmos went bezerk and prevented an actual full run reading.

Here are my figures:-

6ft size 10 feet and 14st (yikes!)

oh and if your interested in the good old girls figures here they are:-

337.4 BHP @ 6485 rpm

393 Nm @ 4605 rpm

We bit more BHP and quite a bit more torque than last time - Must be BM Motors magic service, all that dancing round the car and chanting worked!

Sorry I had to go a bit early but was helping a mate move, thanks to the chap that let me in the queue early.

"Best bit about having a run is coming home to clean the car" Pete you really are one sick puppy. Is you abode a complete opposite a total mess?

Great day - long live petrol!!!!!!!!!!!

Alan the 535s torque started with a 6, yes a 6 and my jaw has been dragging along the floor ever since.

Printout's out in the car so I'll post the details tomorrow...

306bhp and 653Nm torque. Power is down on what it should be (328bhp) but the torque is spot on (checked with my last rolling road, which was Star Perfomance)

Hopefully getting the DMS remap "redone" next week to see if that fixes the problem - a blip just after 3000rpm. Interestingly enough I cannot notice it on the road at all!!

The last time I saw a torque figure like that, it had propellors and floated!

Looked like a good day, shame I missed it but had a fireworks display on. Maybe I'll make the next meet hopefully, if I'm up in Scotland.

My reads as

296bhp @ 6305 rpms...much lower than the one I did down south. Torque was down as well at 363Nm...which equates to a standard set up However, like Steve I don't feel less powered when on the road..

DMS are gonna be busy next week.

Well as seems to the norm for me these days. My 325i sport on route decided to throw a bitch fit just as we left the tolls on the forth road bridge, and died on me.

Managed to get it started on limped to Falkland. Had to wait for everyone to have their run before the mechanic could look at it for me. Anwhen he did guess what, yip the problem disapeared like the wife when it's her round.

Put it on the rollers and showed the fuelling to be 0.1% instead of 1.5-2%.

The figures where quite encouraging given the lack of proper fuelling.

Standard should be 171BHP
Actual was 169.3BHP @ 6055rpm

Torque was 213.4Nm @ 4635rpm

275,9 bhp @ 6695 rpm (owners handbook says 280 bhp @ 6200 rpm)

325,5 Nm @ 4930 rpm (owners handbook says 335 Nm @ 4500 rpm)

Idling rough afterwards though .... took the plugs out to check them and they look like they are due for replacement - I hope that's all it is!

She's a great lass and we are extremely sad to see her move down to england.

Marie-Noëlle, just remember Scotland is only a few hours drive away.Anytime you feel like cheering up...you know where to come

Thanks for your good words Tiko  as introduction to the Central Region

....I know it's a different topic, but felt like adding it here...after my previous post...

Well, I am also sad to go, but...a woman's got to do what a woman's got to do... Will definetely see you all again.

Besides the rolling road was good. My little baby performed very well; he hasn't lost power at all after almost 215K kms (over 130k miles) and 8 years in my hands... The older he gets, the better he does the job

a nice sunny day for a change, so off down to the local motor factors, £18 lighter and 20 minutes of watching...errr i mean "supervising" my dad saw a new set of 6 NGK BKR6 plugs installed, fired her up.... yaaay, rough idle gone and, although its probably placebo i swear the throttle response has improved
