Cheers guys. I have to admit to a wee bit of sex pee when I put another bit on the car.

It's going to be tight for the 1st. I ahve to MOT the car and tax it for the 1st as well.

Hopefully it will be ready but I'm not 100% sure if it will

No worries mate. We have decided to go with the same code as the body with a silk finish.

Its getting nearer the finishing line.

The bonnets painted

Along with the sunroof lid

Then the bumpers were prepped on Friday

Then it was a late one on Saturday to paint them, but they look the mutts muts now

Front and rear bumpers primed

Then painted

And finally the obligitory four coats of laquer

And then a six our shift fitting the wings, door, sunroof and bumpers and adjusting them up.

It's beginning to look like a car once again

I'll ignore the young upstart above, much like I have done most of his life.

Well its was a mental Saturday that started at 7am and finished at 03:30hrs on the Sunday morning. Why the long hours I hear you ask.

Well I will tell you, so that I could have the car ready for the show and shine competition that the car club were running.

I got up at 07:30hrs so that i could put the rear spoiler on that had just been painted not 5 hours ago. I had to put the front grills on rear M3 badge airducts and front towing eye covers.

Enough of my rantings. It is fianlly finished.

Here are a few pics when I washed it this evening all put together.

Great work Gary!

Nothing like a deadline to spur things on a bit.

I had a similar situation with my touring....but the painted bits were still tacky and only half of them arrived!
