Schumacher wanted that role but Todt wouldn't step down. Schumacher is now inbetween jobs.
I wonder, I wonder.

Do you think Alonso will let Hamilton pass during the race tomorrow since he is behind him on the starting grid?

somehow, I don't think so...makes for an interesting race.

Early start tomorrow 6.15am

I can remember a couple of times when Shuey was down a few places and won the race. I have a good feeling about tomorrow and it starts with the letter H!

Going by past performances, Mclaren have never been good with tyre choice on certain circuits, as Montoya, Raikkonen and Hamilton, know all too well..

Wasn't Heikki on the same strategy? What really hurt Lewis was the stuck wheel

I think McLaren have the flawed genius syndrome.  Sometime you can be in awe and others you just scratch your head and think @#*&*+!!

Oooh, The machine of a dream, such a clean machine With the pistons a pumpin', and the alloys all gleam, When I'm holding your wheel, All I hear is your gear, With my hand on your grease gun, Mmm it's like a disease son, I'm in love with my car, gotta feel for my automobile, Get a grip on my .......

No, a more normal one stint on the option tyre.

I'd never considered Massa and genius together TBH

Had it not been for the stuck wheel, Hamilton was on for a podium. As mentioned though, they have a funny way with stratigies, one day they cream the others then do this? Perhaps a better strategist would help. Hamilton did seem to struggle on those tyres and the N/S front was worn very quckly also a few times he locked up due to understeer so the tyres which supposedly had more grip still caused understeer with the rest of the cars setup. I was hoping those big clouds that loomed in the distance would have played a part, THAT would have been interesting and may have played into McLarens hands, having said that, Ferrari always were good in the rain, especially with sheepwhacker.

Either way, lets hope it's lesson learnt and on with the next race in a couple of weeks.

Watch your back pitsy, I'm comin for ya!

BTW, did we ever find out who the AAAAARDVARK is?  coz I'm comin for him too!
