Yer no kiddin'!

Sutil had a great race until Kimi's lapse in concentration cold braking in the wet, sending his fishtailing ferrari into Sutil's rear diffuser, causing Sutil to retire from 4th.

I blame the commentators, as they tempted fate just seconds before...Oh yes, how many times did you hear the commentators refering to Ayrton Senna with Hamilton being the topic of conversation...how dare they![rant over] Bring on the BBC...

Tough race for all without TC in the wet which, made it all the more exciting.

Well done Hamilton, Kubica (who had a flawless race) and Massa.

Lots of unashamed Lewis Hamilton bias in all the commentary throughout the weekend, especially during qualifying, think they were watching a different session.......... what they going to do if he actually becomes World Champ???

God help us all IF Lewis Hamilton does win the F1 Championship, it'll be like 1966 all over again for years to come..
I wish him well but, I detest the press and commentary bias that comes with it. [rant over]

Sure it would be worse if Murray was commentating.
Although I have ITV, I tend to watch F1 on Setanta Irl where the commentary is provided by an ex F1 driver (David Kennedy - who never amounted to much) and a F. Vee driver (Derek Quigly) and former Jordan tech-director Gary Anderson. As a team they tend to give a better commentary than the ITV guys.

Yeah, got to agree with my fellow 4th place comrade , BBC1, Murray Walker and Fleetwood Mac were my Sunday afternoons as a kid and those times should return me thinks!

As I said at the beginning of the season, it's a marathon not a race and those extra points doesn't get you anywhere if you cannot consistently keep the points flowing *COUGH*

Anyway, 4th is ok for now, I still have plenty of time for McLaren to find their true form and catapult Hamilton to stardom and in the meantime me into 1st (fingers crossed!)

Bring on Canada, COME ON HAMILTON!

Mike

I think Kubica is definitely the man to watch this season. He has been driving superbly and consistently. He seems to be a very controlled driver and doesn't seem to make rash decisions or get the red mist as has happened with the others in the top 6 or 8 drivers. The team have pretty well got the tactics correct. The car seems to be handling well and has the reliability. All they need is a little more straight line speed. He just needs another couple of tenths per lap and I reckon they'll find it soon. Certainly is looking to be a very interesting season.

oops....

"Nico Rosberg set the pace for Williams in a truncated final practice session in Montreal.

The German was sitting at the top of the timing charts when Sebastian Vettel crashed his Toro Rosso heavily with 15 minutes remaining, bringing out the red flag.

That set up a six-minute scramble to the chequered flag, but any chance of a typical last-minute order shuffle was scotched when Vettel’s team-mate, Sebastien Bourdais, crashed the sister Toro Rosso.

Championship contenders Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) and Felipe Massa (Ferrari) wound up second, third and fourth quickest respectively."

plenty of time to repair them though, qualifying isn't until 6pm(BST)

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.
