Never had doubts mate in your ability based upon your history in car
modding, just didn't expect you to keep to time frames.

Doubted the rims but now I love them and would happily put them on
mine.

Still think it's too low but you know what you want and I believe in you
pal.

Thanks very much man.

Like you said ive done this so many times now with
previous cars i know what i want i a know when i want it
and realistic time frames on which things can be done..

Yeah i recon a set style 5's on your car would look the
bussiness.
You can try them on one day if you wish to see what you
think!

I recon a set of Eibach OR Whiteline ARB's will do the
car a world of good and also a full set of polly bushes
Thats next on the list once my M3 hubs turn up.

But like i offered today man, You can have a shot if you
wish i dont mind you will see how much a diffrence the M3
mani makes.

had a bit of a problem yesterday tho, My M3 mani has
decided to detach itself from my center section by having
a split at the flange!

So its going to need welded and it make my car sound
hurendous.

I hate when you get silly little teething problems never
fails. theres always somthing when you do somthing like
this lol!

Today i had my manifold welded back together.. Looks like there orignaly pressed together anyway no wonder it split!

Waiting on new gasket coming for them tho. and new seals for powersteering rack as slightly leaks fluid.

Apart from that i had been lookin at some new parts id like to buy up from Vorsteiner & Schmiedmann, Such as carbon fiber item's and some other things so still alot more to come so keep watching this space!

Update :

Been messing around with a few new ideas on photoshop :

Smoothed Fogs (Front Bumper)
Air Feed (Front Bumper)
Debadged Bonnet
Gurney Flap (Class II Wing)

Ignore the grey roof i realy dont like it lol

Original Pic :

If i was to do this with front bumper i would buy another and do it to that one and keep the original. As only 4 bolts change the bumper so easly changed if i fellt the need for a diffrent look!

Comments Welcome.

Roddy i think the car is looking great, take my hat off to you. I've got my M3 off the road just now, my plans are taking front and rear bumper off, also cleaning underneath the car. I have already started to look at slightly modifying it with CF goodies. Have never tackled taking bumpers off before and think plastics will be a nightmare (all the tucking and overlapping!!). Thinking of light upgrade for headlights, angeleyes.

Can't wait to see ur car up close as I admire everything that's been done.

Think the black roof would finish it off nicely, really dont like the lights though. Each to their own though

Thanks mate, I took a lot of time before touching my car
to plan what was needing done and such like and hopefully
its paid off..

You wont have any hassel removing your bumpers mate
pritty simple the guards for the wheel tubs often play
funny buggers though lol

I did have angel eyes, (simple mod) but removed them when
i tinted my inners yellow.. now i run with sidelights
again!
Mainly because everybody else now has angel eyes on there
E36's and i like my car to stand out from the croud if
you have not already guest lol

Soon enough im sure you will all get to see it in the
flesh, Over the next few months a i may take it off the
road and give it and extensive clean underneath and wax
oil it just to keep it mint.

And for as for Carbon goodies, go for it mate. i love
Carbon fiber ive still more to come lol

Update :

PERFORMANCE STAGE 2

After alot of looking around and gathering information about FORCED INDUCTION (Superchargers & Turbos) For bmws as ive done this to a previous car in the past!

And after a fair bit of looking in to the limits of the standered M52 Block i have decided for best value for money and most impressive results turbocharging is the next stage in my build.

A standerd M52 block can handle 500 Flywheel Horse Power which eqates to roughly 450 Wheel Horse Power after power loss through transmission.

So for the low boost set up im originaly going for i will be running around 430/450 RWHP (Power @ the wheels)

With possiblity for improvement with more boost and bigger injectors, The GT3582R turbo i will be running can handle 600 Flywheel Horse Power.

At the moment im in trying to decide weather to go for FORGED Oversized pistons (1mm Overbore) & H Beam rods from the start while engine's rebuild is underway or wait till i want more boost, But im thinking if the work is provisionaly done its less work in the long run and keep the project very safe from blowing the bottum end.

Any questions or comments welcome!
