Update :

After having a look over the car it seems the problems have been down to a faulty thermostat..

Should be going to pick the car up tommorow and i shouldnt have anymore overheating problems now!

Im glad this is only what it came down to, as even tho i want to change the head in the long run right now was not when i wanted to do it.

UPDATE :

Over next couple of weeks cars booked back in to chizfab to have more work done before MOT which consists of...

- Chizfab Custom Adjustable Camber Arms (Rear) (Fabricated & Fitted)
- Chizfab Custom Tucked Up Exhaust System (Fabricated & Fitted)
- Custom Made Wiring Harness For Euro Side Markers
- Polybushes Allround Fitted
- Eibach Anti Roll Bars Fitted

Hopefully :

- E31 Brembo 4Pot Calipers
- E36 M3 Hubs
- E36 M3 Master Cyl
- Braided Lines

And if i can find one im looking for a close ratio Limited Slip Diff

Then :

- BC Racing 32 Way Adjustable Coilovers
- BC Racing Camber Adjustable Top Mounts (Front)

Car can then be set up exactly to how i drive for road and track use!
Ive had experiance with a simalar set up on my last track car and in my opinion if you know how to set it up they are a must have for spirited driving on track or off, the non dampning and camber adjustable Ap racing coilovers i run at the minute are good but dont give me the handling im looking for, i often get a slight touch of understeer that i have to cure with a tad of oversteer at the moment, the car does not act and perform as i think it should or would like it to.

Few other parts to come but they are not in need right at this minute in time!

Just want the car as finnished as possible for upcoming meets and shows.

UPDATE :

Today the car had been at chizfab to have a small problem iron'd out that was causing my temp gauge and fuel gauge to drop off and stop working, Now sorted and working fine.

But while the car was there to my surprise when i went to pick it up Kyle had a headlight mod i had inquired about done for me! i had previously asked if it was possible to make up a loom  that did not interfear with OEM loom to work the lights in the specific way

So when i went to pick the car up he mentioned he kindly had the loom made and fitted by his auto electrician mate that was there to solve me earlyer electrical problem.

Was a nice surprise here's a couple pics with the new US Spec side repeaters i had fitted a while back and working with the new US running light mod done!

Second picture aint to great but i will get a beter one when i have time!

Comments Welcome

UPDATE :

Today i have been doing some investagating, and looking in to the originaly Gurney flap for the M3 GT..

As the part is no longer available through bmw dealer and not very likely to appear on ebay anytime soon, Im going to custom make my own and replicate the original

Ive found a part from another car that resembles the basic shape im going use that as a base and then work from there with some fiberglass to get the shape perfect or as near to the orignal as possible and them create a mold from the item i have made so then i can have someone in the know create either a carbon item or somthing along them lines!

As ive had experiance with custom carbon parts before and most of the money is in the mold they have to make and to bring the price down the always recomend doing a group buy but i want this to be unique to my car!

Update

Today i was looking through Pistonheads Bmw parts section
and came accross a set of E36 Coupe grey full leather
interior in my local area so after a quick email to the
seller and sorting out a cracking deal, i have just been
and picked up the interior..

It is quite durty but after a clean and brought back to
former glory before i fit them i think they will suit my
car very well..

I am missing the door cards to match but due to the
colour of the seats they where in a 325is with a grey
dash and plastics so i will just have a black set
recoverd to match when fitted!

You'll be struggling to find e46 m3 discs in that size as they only come in 325mm on the front and 328mm on the rear.
