Snow Pics then from the North Face of the Everest (Not really, It's Lochgelly. But you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference.)

Guess the Cars

And Again

The fresh snow on the right here is about 18" deep

Despite the clear drive this hasn't moved since Sunday

Snowman awaiting completion.....or burial, whichever comes first

This story was total horses**t as i thought. Confirmed by plod on the news tonight. Facebook rumour mill gone nuts as usual.

Advising people to clear their roofs for safetys sake - yes
Dishing out fines and points - No

Snow pics to follow

I wondered about this too when i got loads of texts about it yesterday so i googled it and couldnt find anything online about it. Its common sense to clear the car of snow tho and I wouldnt be surprised if the police are stopping cars!

Not boring us at all Neil, some cracking pics there as
usual. Makes me feel we've got away with it pretty lightly
in th west compared to all you out in the east.

@ Nicola, I'm with Gary on that one. Brilliant idea, I'm
sure you'll get plenty of folk interested in a wee social
event

Blackie remains all tucked up in his garage whilst I fly away to sunny
BA tomorrow :) let's hope the taxi can get me to the airport and then
the airport be open. Back on 10th.

Given I am missing both the AGM and the Xmas dinner I thought I'd
have an open house one afternoon or evening in December. Kern to
catch up with you all.

Do you think anyone might want to come over?

Nicola

Another few from me

(To the top of my Rigger Boots is approximately 11" and my foot wasn't fully down onto the road)

Yes, the digger came around and cleared the road.
Unfortunately it has pushed the snow into a wall at the end of the drive,
so getting the car out will require some serious digging out

That's some snowfall where you are Cambell!

I've just spent an hour clearing/chipping away at the ice outside my driveway.  Yesterday morning after I left (with no problems I may add) a snow plough came into the street and scraped off the top 4 inches of snow.  The bottom 2 inches of snow were then compacted into solid ice.  Got in the driveway last night as it is down the smallest of slopes but, ahem, struggled getting back up the 200-300 mm rise in my street to join the main road.  So my neighbours were woken by a V8 powered alarm clock at 3,000 rpms at 07.05 this morning in my attempt to get out the street.

Main road was of course fine as it had been previously gritted.  M8 was fine.  Glasgow city centre street were bad.  Not seen a gritter on any road in Renfrewshire since Saturday lunchtime.

Be exclusive and drive a Petrol 5 Series!
