Sorry to hear that Gary.

Just noticed that this is next weekend ! I'd better start looking out the cleaning stuff and give the car it's 1st "proper" clean of the year.

Looking forward to it.

Do we want to meet up and convoy on Saturday ?

If so, I'm suggesting Granada Services at the East of the Edinburgh City Bypass at 13:15 for a 13:30 departure (Give or take Robins work finish time).

With a leisurely drive, we should be signing in to the hotel between 15:30 - 16:00. remember and have your £1.60 for The Tyne Tunnel.

Oh yeah, remember your (charged up and on Channel 2) walkie talkies aswell

If you stay on the A1M you don't need to go through the Tyne tunnel

Best wat is straight down A1 come off at junction 64 then follow A195 left at 1st roundabout and hotel will be 100 yards on the left. Much easier than Tyne tunnel :-)).

I'll be leaving sunny Clydebank about 12ish so will be out your way bout 1.00ish.

Remebering the walkie talkie might be difficult as I don't have a scooby where it is

Don't think we will manage to make the meet up point outside Edinburgh as our departure time at this end is still a bit uncertain so don't wait for us. we will take the radio and keep it on just in case we are not too far behind ( and probably lost as usualConfused! )
Anyone got a plan regarding cleaning the cars down there since it looks a bit wet for the journey down?
