<quote>I'm in the centre of Edinburgh that day anyway, so Gordon I could pick you up and take you back to your to pick up the 525? I'd need to be punted to the back of the class with Gordon, but should mean we'd both get there a wee bit earlier. Jon - your call.</quote>

That would be great for me if M BLUR is OK with 330DSE going nearer the end.

Cheers Steve.

Wed Night - 1st September - from 5-5.30pm onwards

Howdy,  List confirmed to Gerry (Dastek) and date sorted. I've contacted F&M mag to come and cover. Can I ask the first 4/5 on the group to turn up for 5 for 5.30 or as close as poss. The rest can then begin to tun up from 6 onwards or earlier. I'd ask that everyone to try and turn up no later then 6.30 leaving any the last to arrive by 7 if not sooner. Looking fwd to it guys. Cost is £40 per car for 2 runs, which also gives you a laminated power runs sheet to take home. Cheers Jonny

Only if you chose to be Wendy that day!!! Just come as Gary please, can you amagine the looks we would get driving along the M8 holding hands, not to mention the queue that would build up behind!!

Only kidding. Yep can do. If you are gonna travel along the M8 you might as well come off at J4 and i'll meet you there. I could park on the hard shoulder at the bottom of the slip road heading back on but you might nick me. I stay 1 minute from the junction, you could meet me at the house. You decide

Tigger, who remapped your ACS for you?  Have you noticed a noticable difference as I am considering having mine done now exhausts & induction on.   What engine is yours?

Mark

Hi mark my remap was done by tuning concept based in Germany but hav Uk agents. They basically took a copy of the original software from my ECU, then stored it on their company laptop and then replaced it with their modified software.
They only modify the fuel and timing data held on the ECU program so all the other cars functions including the diagnostic side remain fully functionable. I've just had the car serviced and its been Its been undetectable at the dealer because there is no hardware changes or soldering.
I always felt the car did not pull that hard esp from 1ish K to 3.5k (low end) so i decided to get it remapped and it's brillant now...there is no flat spots and much more responsive when you floor it instead of having to wait for it to pick up.

Mine is a 325ti compact i got told with the remap the car suppose to be kicking out 215bhp but I'm not really that bothered about actual bhp because the car is so much more driveable now with the remap compared to before...
