Gone off the M5 for my car. Saw a 520 Taxi with them on today.
I like the parrells know. Anyone know how much for genunine or good reps. (that may be a contradiction in terms) Mick |

My reps were £770 delivered from Rochford tyres but genuine I don't know about secondhand but I think they're about £2500 a set. HTH Paul |

They look like Sport alloys on your car to begin with. Personally, I think the ones you have on are a handsome wheel and suit the E39 'down to the ground'. Wouldn't change them and save the money for something else

Certainly are mick, I am suffering with a bit of wobble at the moment but my upper control arms do need changing and the suspension bushes do. They didn't wobble when I first got them, they do need balancing depending on what tyres you use. Mine have avon ZZ3's and do go out of balance. The reps are 9 1/2x18 at the back and genuine ones have 9x18 and aren't polished on the outer face. HTH Paul |

No probs mick, also the salt and grit from the roads get under the lacquer quite easily once they've been on a while and can make them look terrible. I need to get mine refurbed, but have just been given a rather tempting offer of another car (1999 (T) plate 523i) so the refurb may have to go on hold as I have some serious pondering to do Paul |

How have you got on with your wheel dilemma Mick? Changed the upper arms and all wobbles gone! The alloys were perfectly ok! Am well chuffed with the car now and am keeping it for a little while yet! Paul |
