Congrats Gary must be superb knowing that the cars totally sorted, something which many of us only dream of. Make sure it gets out and about to remind people of how crisp a design the M3 was, and still is.

Cheers peeps,

Well I have finally plucked up the courage and tallied up the total cost.

I think it's not too bad considering what was done to it and how far we went.

I told the daughter of satan that it would be about £1500 and we came in at just shy if not on £3000.

I haven't told her the real price, she still thinks it's £1500

Looks fantastic. With that amount of work I'd say that's pretty good value, I'd have expected it to be a lot more.

Yeah mate so did I, but was pleasantly surprised. I think alot of that was to do with me doing a fair bit of the stripping and rebuilding.

I agree Boyd.

As I said I think mI saved quite a bit on my labour as well as Stevie giving me mates rates on the painting side.

I have the final bill which with the new head unit and the last piece of outer trim, (being the only piece left in the country and now NLA at £103) comes in at £3200 plus pennies
